In February 2018 the Iowa Chapter initiated an update to the Strategic Plan to provide guidance over the next several years and to help outline a strategy for the Chapter Executive Committee to provide services to chapter members and expanding opportunities for new service initiatives and more articulated volunteering needs. 

The Strategic Plan is divided into 4 parts:

·         Advocacy & Awareness

·         Member Services & Support

·         Shaping the Future of the Profession

·         Governance & Management
